16 · BROW SHEET · CANBERRA, ACT
Of everything we offer, eyebrow tattooing gets the most of our attention. Brows frame the face, so small changes to shape or density make a real difference. Our aim is to enhance the brows you already have, not to change who you are.

A · WHY BROWS LEAD
“My eyebrows are really sparse.”
“I have to draw my eyebrows on every morning.”
These are typical of the concerns that bring people to eyebrow tattooing. Brows that are uneven, undefined or slow to fill in with pencil are hard to fix with everyday makeup. That is why brows are our highest-priority service. Every brow is designed around your facial features, skin and preferences, not taken from a one-size-fits-all template.
B · THE TECHNIQUES
We use several brow techniques. Each one has its own sheet, numbered to match the rest of the site.
02 Microblading and Feathering Brows : fine, hair-like strokes
03 Powder and Ombre Brows : soft, shaded fill
04 Nano Brows and Combination Brows : strokes and shading together
Not sure which one fits? Read Strokes or Shading? Choosing a Brow Technique, or leave the decision until we can see your skin in person.
C · CONCERN TO TECHNIQUE
Clients usually describe a concern, not a technique. Here is how the three we hear most often tend to lead to a starting point. The final choice is made together at your consultation.
CONCERN 01
“My eyebrows are really sparse.” Where there are gaps between natural hairs, fine strokes can add the look of hair. That points towards Microblading and Feathering Brows, or Nano Brows and Combination Brows if your skin suits a softer build.
CONCERN 02
When one brow sits higher, starts further in or thins out sooner, mapping does most of the work. We measure both sides and draw a balanced shape. Strokes, shading or a combination then fills it. The aim is balance, not a mirror image.
CONCERN 03
“I have to draw my eyebrows on every morning.” If you like a soft, filled look, Powder and Ombre Brows are often the closest match. Whichever technique we choose, pigment is placed within the shape you approved at mapping.

D · WHAT TO EXPECT
One of the most common misunderstandings is that brows look finished straight after treatment. In fact, colour and definition settle as the skin heals. How your brows heal depends on your skin, any existing pigment, your lifestyle and your aftercare. Pigment may fade or change over time, so maintenance appointments may be needed.
For more detail, read Healing, Results and Aftercare. If you have an older brow tattoo that has faded or shifted in colour, start with Cosmetic Tattoo Correction and Removal.
Results vary between clients and are not guaranteed. Cosmetic tattooing is not a substitute for medical treatment of skin conditions.
My brows are sparse. Will strokes or shading look more natural?
It depends on how much natural hair you have, your skin and the look you prefer. We look at all three in person before suggesting a technique.
One brow sits higher than the other. Can they be made to match?
We map both brows to bring them into better balance. Natural brows are similar but never identical, so we aim for balance that suits your face rather than an exact copy.
I draw my brows on every day. Can you match my usual look?
Bring a photo of your everyday brows or come in wearing them. We use it as a reference and adjust the shape to your features. Brows look stronger straight after treatment and soften as they heal.
My concern is an old brow tattoo. Where do I start? If earlier work has faded, shifted colour or no longer suits you, start with Cosmetic Tattoo Correction and Removal.
