07 — CORRECTION & REMOVAL · CANBERRA STUDIO
Maybe your brows have healed warmer or greyer than you expected. Maybe the shape no longer suits your face, or you’d simply like older work lightened. We look at every existing cosmetic tattoo in person at our Canberra studio before suggesting anything. No two cases start from the same place, so we never offer a one-size-fits-all fix.

A — BEFORE ANY PLAN
PIGMENT
Its colour now, how dense it looks and how evenly it has settled all shape what we can do next.
SKIN
Skin characteristics affect how new pigment takes and how the area responds to further work.
HEALING
How your earlier treatment healed gives us useful clues about how your skin may heal again.
GOAL
A softer colour, a new shape or less pigment overall. Your goal decides which path we talk through.
B — TWO PATHS
Correction works with what is already there. It may mean adjusting a colour that has shifted, softening harsh edges or refining a shape so it sits better with your features. Whether we can correct something depends on how much pigment is present and how your skin has held it.
Removal is for work you’d rather lighten or take out, sometimes before new work is designed. Some pigment lifts more readily than other pigment, so we discuss realistic expectations with you rather than promising a blank page.
Many clients come to us after brow work done somewhere else. If you’d like new brows afterwards, we can talk through powder and ombre, microblading and feathering or nano and combination brows once we know what your skin is ready for.
C — HOW IT WORKS
01 Consultation at the studio. We look at your existing work in good light and ask about when it was done and how it healed.
02 An honest assessment. We explain what correction or removal may be able to achieve for you, and what it may not.
03 A plan for your face. Any approach is tailored to your pigment, your skin and your goal, not copied from another case.
04 Review after healing. The skin needs to heal before anyone can judge the result, so we look again before deciding on any further step.

D — WHAT TO EXPECT
Outcomes depend on the pigment already in your skin, your skin characteristics, how you heal, your lifestyle and your aftercare. We can’t promise a set number of sessions or a particular result. Each case is different, and we’d rather tell you that at the start.
How the area looks straight after an appointment is not the final result. Colour and definition often settle as the skin heals. Pigment may also fade or change over time, so maintenance may be needed later.
Cosmetic tattoo correction and removal are cosmetic services. They are not a medical treatment for skin conditions. If you have concerns about your skin’s health, please speak with your doctor.
