QUESTION SHEET · SECTIONS A TO E
Most people thinking about cosmetic tattooing want to know four things: how long it lasts, whether it hurts, what it costs and how long healing takes. We answer those below in plain English, along with the questions first-time clients often have about hygiene, experience and suitability. Anything specific to your skin and features we’ll go through with you in person.

PRACTICAL CHECKLIST
01 Which feature you’d like to enhance: brows, lips or eyeliner.
02 Whether you have an existing cosmetic tattoo that may need correcting first.
03 The everyday look you prefer: soft and natural, or a little more defined.
04 Any skin conditions, health matters or medications you should mention to us.
05 Upcoming events, since healing takes time and early results aren’t final.
06 Whether you’re ready to follow aftercare and come back for maintenance.
Not sure about any of these? That’s what the consultation is for. See how a treatment works, from first conversation to healed result.
A
There’s no single answer, because it varies from client to client. Pigment may fade or change over time, and maintenance appointments may be needed to keep the shape and colour looking fresh. How quickly that happens depends on your skin, existing pigmentation, how you heal, your lifestyle and how closely you follow aftercare. We’ll give you a realistic picture for your own skin at consultation.
One of the most common misunderstandings is that what you see in the mirror straight afterwards is the final result. It isn’t. Colour and definition usually settle as the skin heals, so give it time before you judge the outcome. Our guide to healing, results and aftercare explains this in more detail.
Cosmetic tattooing should enhance your natural features, not change who you are. We design each brow, lip line or eyeline around your facial features, skin and preferences rather than a template. Choosing the right technique matters too. Strokes or shading? compares the main brow options.
We won’t tell you it’s painless, because sensation differs from person to person and from one area of the face to another. Some clients find it mildly uncomfortable; others feel more. We’ll explain what to expect during your treatment and check in with you as we work, so you’re never left wondering what comes next.
Healing varies with your skin, the technique and the area treated, so we don’t give one fixed timeline for everyone. Expect the treated area to change in look as it settles. Following your aftercare instructions closely is one of the most useful things you can do for the healed result.
Often, yes. Maintenance appointments may be needed as pigment fades or changes. We’ll talk about what’s likely for you before you commit to treatment.

Cost depends on the treatment you choose and what your skin needs, for example whether an existing cosmetic tattoo needs correcting first. Rather than quote a figure that may not fit you, we discuss pricing clearly at consultation, before anything is booked.

It’s a fair question and a sensible one to ask. You’re welcome to ask us how the treatment area and tools are prepared.
Our work is led by Olha Po, who has worked professionally in cosmetic tattooing since 2016. She is identified on the official Face Figurati website as a licensed cosmetic tattoo artist, and has built her skills through practical experience, international training and European permanent makeup techniques. Read Olha’s profile.
Cosmetic tattooing isn’t suitable for everyone. Olha is a cosmetic tattoo specialist, not a medical practitioner, so if you have a skin condition or health concern, please speak with your doctor as well. At consultation we’ll talk openly about whether treatment is right for you.
E
No. Lip blush enhances the colour and definition of your lips, but it doesn’t physically add volume. If more shape or definition is what you’re after, we’ll talk about what lip blush can realistically do for your lips.
No. We specialise in cosmetic tattooing and permanent makeup. It isn’t a substitute for dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, cosmetic surgery or medical treatment of skin conditions.
Results depend on skin characteristics, existing pigmentation, healing, lifestyle and aftercare. Pigment may fade or change over time.
