17 · FOCUS SHEET · CANBERRA, ACT

WHERE OUR
FOCUS SITS

Our cosmetic tattooing focuses on three features: the brows, the lips and the lash line. We also correct and remove existing cosmetic tattoos. Keeping our focus this narrow means every treatment gets the planning it needs. This sheet sets out what we do, what we offer alongside it and where cosmetic tattooing stops.

A · THE FOUR STATIONS

This is our highest-priority service. It covers powder and ombre, nano, microblading and combination brows, and each one is mapped to your face before any pigment goes in. Compare the techniques: 02 Microblading, 03 Powder & Ombre and 04 Nano & Combination.

05  Lip Blush

Lip blush enhances the colour and definition of your lips. It does not add volume. We choose the shape and shade to suit your natural lip line and skin.

Eyeliner tattooing gives you a defined lash line that lasts longer than everyday makeup. It suits clients who are tired of redrawing their liner every morning. We plan the thickness and placement around the shape of your eyes.

This is for clients with an existing cosmetic tattoo they would like corrected or removed. We look carefully at what is already there before recommending a next step.

B · BOUNDARIES

WHERE COSMETIC TATTOOING STOPS

Cosmetic tattooing should enhance your natural features, not change who you are. Being clear about its limits is part of planning a good result.

Cosmetic tattooing is not a substitute for dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections or cosmetic surgery.

It is not a medical treatment for skin conditions.

Lip blush adds colour and definition, never physical volume.

Olha Po is a cosmetic tattoo and permanent makeup specialist, not a medical practitioner. If your concern is medical, a medical practitioner is the right person to see first.

Alongside our treatments: 08 Specialist Beauty Training, taught in person at our Canberra studio.

C · FIT CHECK

IS IT THE RIGHT FIT?

Check 1  Your concern

Tell us what you’d like to change, whether it’s sparse brows, a faint lip line, liner you redraw every day or an older cosmetic tattoo. First we check whether it falls within brows, lips, eyeliner, or correction and removal.

Check 2  Suitability

Cosmetic tattooing isn’t suitable for everyone. At your consultation we look at your skin, any existing pigmentation and what you’re hoping for. Then we tell you honestly whether cosmetic tattooing can give you that result.

Check 3  If it sits outside our work

If your concern needs fillers, injectables, surgery or medical treatment of the skin, cosmetic tattooing isn’t the answer. We’ll tell you plainly and suggest you see an appropriate practitioner, such as your GP, before you consider anything with us.

D · SCOPE QUESTIONS

BEFORE YOU BOOK

What if my concern isn’t listed?

You can still ask. Our main work is brows, lips, eyeliner, and correction and removal. If you’re not sure whether your concern fits, send us an enquiry and we’ll give you a straight answer, even if the answer is that we’re not the right studio for it.

Should I see a medical practitioner first?

If your concern is a skin condition or anything medical, yes. Olha Po is a cosmetic tattoo and permanent makeup specialist, not a medical practitioner. Mention any health concerns when you enquire, and we’ll let you know if you should get medical advice first.

For general questions about how long results last, comfort, cost and healing, see Common Questions.

Results depend on your skin characteristics, existing pigmentation, healing, lifestyle and aftercare, so they vary from client to client.
