06 — EYELINER TATTOOING · CANBERRA STUDIO
If you put eyeliner on every morning, or find it hard to get both sides even, eyeliner tattooing can give you a longer-lasting line. We design it around your eye shape, your lash line and how much definition you actually want, so it suits your face.

Most clients who ask about eyeliner tattooing are tired of the daily routine: lining, smudging, fixing and starting again. A cosmetic tattoo line places pigment along the lash line so you get definition without picking up a pencil.
What counts as a good line is different for everyone. For some clients it’s a fine lash enhancement that just makes the lashes look fuller. Others want a more visible line. We aim for natural-looking results that go with your features. Cosmetic tattooing should enhance your natural features, not change who you are.
Eyeliner tattooing is a cosmetic treatment. It isn’t a medical procedure, and it doesn’t replace treatment for any eye or skin condition.
PLANNING THE LINE
A — Talk it through
We start with how you wear eyeliner now, what you like about it and what frustrates you. We also ask about anything that could affect whether the treatment suits you.
B — Look at your eyes
Eye shape, lid space, lash density and your skin all shape what will look balanced. We work out thickness and placement for your face. We don’t copy a template.
C — Decide together
We agree on the style and the pigment shade before we begin. If eyeliner tattooing isn’t the right fit for you, we’ll tell you plainly at consultation.
How your line looks straight after treatment isn’t the final result. The colour and edges settle as your skin heals, and that process is different for each client.
Pigment can soften over time, so a maintenance appointment may be needed to keep the line looking the way you want.
Discomfort also varies from person to person. We’ll talk through what to expect at your consultation, and our guide to Healing, Results and Aftercare covers the healing stage in more detail.
LINE CHOICES WE MAP
Lid space: how much lid shows when your eyes are open changes how a line reads, so we plan placement around it.
Lash density: we look at how full your lashes are before deciding how the line sits along the lash line.
Line thickness: from a fine lash enhancement to a more visible line, chosen with you at consultation.
Results depend on your skin, existing pigmentation, healing, lifestyle and aftercare; pigment may fade and maintenance may be needed.

Our eyeliner work is led by Olha Po, who has worked in cosmetic tattooing since 2016. She is a cosmetic tattoo specialist, not a medical practitioner. If you already have an eyeliner tattoo you’re unhappy with, see Cosmetic Tattoo Correction and Removal first.
Whether eyeliner tattooing is suitable for you is decided at consultation, after we’ve talked about your eyes, your skin and what you’re hoping for.
Results vary between clients. Pigment may fade or change over time, and maintenance appointments may be required.
