BROWS, LIPS
AND EYELINER

Most of our cosmetic tattooing comes back to three features: the brows, the lips and the lash line. These are the areas clients most often tell us take the longest to fix with everyday makeup. This page sets out how we approach each one, so you can see where your concern fits before you book.

A · BROWS

WHERE MOST CLIENTS START

Eyebrow tattooing is our main area of work, and it’s where most clients begin. Sparse, uneven or over-plucked brows can change how the whole face reads, and brows are often the feature clients draw on every morning. Because brows frame the eyes and lips, settling their shape first can make it easier to decide whether lip blush or eyeliner would help as well.

B · 05 LIPS

LIP BLUSH

Lip blush adds soft colour and definition to the lips. It doesn’t add volume and isn’t a substitute for fillers. What it can do is even out tone and give a clearer edge, so you rely less on lipstick. We choose the shade with you, taking your natural lip colour into account.

06 · LASH LINE

EYELINER TATTOOING

A longer-lasting alternative to daily liner. It can range from subtle definition at the lash line to something more visible, depending on your eye shape and what you’re comfortable with. Read about eyeliner tattooing.

07 · EXISTING WORK

CORRECTION AND REMOVAL

If you already have a cosmetic tattoo you aren’t happy with, we’ll assess it before suggesting a plan. Correction and removal.

C · PLANNING

ONE FACE, NOT A TEMPLATE

A  Brows. The brow shape is drawn on your face first. Brows frame the eyes and lips, so their shape and colour become the reference point for the other two features.

B  Lips. We choose the lip blush shade against your natural lip colour and the rest of your face. It adds colour and definition, not volume.

C  Lash line. We weigh how subtle or visible the liner should be against your eye shape and your brows, so the eye area doesn’t look heavier than the rest of the face.

Together. If you’re interested in more than one feature, we look at how they balance as one face and talk through which order suits you.

Results depend on your skin, existing pigmentation, healing, lifestyle and aftercare. Pigment may fade or change over time, and you may need maintenance appointments. More detail: From Consultation to Healed Result.

D · CHOOSING A FEATURE

WHICH FEATURE FIRST?

Which feature should I start with?

Usually the one you spend the most time correcting with makeup. For many clients that’s their brows. If your brows already suit you and liner is the daily struggle, starting with the lash line can make more sense.

Can brows, lips and eyeliner be planned together?

Yes. At your consultation we can look at all three as one face, so colour and definition stay balanced. Planning them together doesn’t mean doing them all at once. We’ll talk through an order that suits you.

Does it matter which one goes first?

There’s no fixed rule. Brows frame the face, so some clients like to settle their brow shape before choosing a lip shade or liner weight. Others start with the feature that bothers them most.

What if one feature already has a cosmetic tattoo? We’ll assess the existing work before planning anything new. Sometimes correction or removal is the sensible first step.

START WITH THE FEATURE
THAT BOTHERS YOU MOST

Cosmetic tattooing should enhance your natural features, not change who you are. Tell us whether it’s your brows, lips or eyeliner, and we’ll talk through what’s realistic for you.
