Our eyebrow tattooing covers several techniques, and microblading is the one built from fine, hair-like strokes. This page explains where microblading fits within that range, how we plan it around your face and what you can reasonably expect as it heals.

BEFORE YOU ASK ABOUT MICROBLADING
A Do you want brows that look like individual hairs, or a soft filled finish?
B Are there gaps or sparse areas you currently draw in each morning?
C Do you have existing brow tattooing that may need correcting first?
D Can you allow time for healing and a possible follow-up visit?
E Are you comfortable that pigment may fade or change over time?
There are no wrong answers. They simply help us decide, together with you, whether strokes, shading or a mix of both will suit your brows best.
Microblading is one station on the brow map, not the whole map. We choose a technique for your features, skin and preferences, rather than applying one template to every face.
02 Strokes
Fine hair-like strokes are placed along the direction of natural growth. Feathering uses the same idea to fill sparse areas softly.
03 Shading
Powder and ombre brows build a soft, shaded finish rather than defined individual hairs.
04 Both
Nano and combination brows sit between the two, pairing hair-like detail with shading where it helps.
A
We talk through what bothers you about your brows now, look at your skin and any existing pigment, and discuss whether strokes are the right choice.
B
The brow shape is measured and drawn on your own face before any tattooing, so you can see it and agree to it first.
C
Strokes are placed to follow your natural hair direction, with pigment chosen for your colouring. Sensations vary from person to person, and we’ll talk you through each stage.
D
How your brows look straight afterwards is not the final result. Colour and crispness settle as the skin heals, and a maintenance appointment may be needed.

Fine strokes are detailed work, and they respond to the skin they sit in. Your skin characteristics, any existing pigmentation, how you heal, your lifestyle and your aftercare all affect how crisp the strokes look once healed and how long the colour holds.
That’s why we may suggest shading or a combination finish if we think it will heal better on your skin. The aim is brows that suit your face and still look like you, not a change in who you are.
Results vary between clients. Pigment may fade or change over time, and maintenance appointments may be required. Cosmetic tattooing is not a medical treatment for skin or hair conditions.
How long does microblading last?
It varies. Skin, healing, lifestyle and aftercare all play a part, and pigment fades over time. We’ll talk about what to expect for your skin at consultation.
Will it hurt?
People feel it differently, so we won’t call it painless. We explain each step and check in with you as we go.
Who does the work?
Treatments are led by Olha Po, who has worked in cosmetic tattooing since 2016 and is a cosmetic tattoo specialist, not a medical practitioner.
I already have old brow tattooing. Can I still microblade?
Sometimes existing pigment needs attention first. See Cosmetic Tattoo Correction and Removal, or read more in Common Questions.
