THE PRE-DRAW SHEET · CANBERRA STUDIO
Good cosmetic tattooing starts well before any pigment goes in. We measure, map and draw each brow, lip line or eyeline on your face and agree on it with you before we begin. This page explains how that design process works and why we plan every treatment around the person in the chair, not a template.

Strokes, shading or a mix of both, mapped to your brow bone and natural hair.
Colour and definition shaped to your lip line, eye shape and lash line.
Existing work assessed in person first.
HOW A DESIGN IS MAPPED
Every face is different. Brow bones sit at different heights, lips are rarely perfectly even, and skin takes pigment in its own way. That is why the design stage matters as much as the technique. Olha Po has worked in cosmetic tattooing since 2016, and she treats every plan as a fresh drawing.
Step 1 Listen
We start with what bothers you, whether that’s sparse brows, a lip colour that fades into your skin or a line you redraw every morning, and how much definition you’d like day to day.
Step 2 Look
We look closely at your facial features, skin characteristics and any existing pigmentation or older cosmetic tattoo work. These all shape what is realistic for you.
Step 3 Map
We measure and draw the shape directly on your face. You see it in the mirror and we adjust it together until it feels like you.
Step 4 Choose
Only then do we choose the technique and pigment, whether that’s strokes, shading or a combination for brows, or a soft or more defined finish for lips and eyeliner.

05 — LIPS · 06 — EYELINER
We use the same careful mapping for lips and eyes. With lip blush, we follow your natural lip line and choose a shade that suits your skin tone. Lip blush adds colour and definition, but it does not add volume and is not a substitute for dermal fillers or other injectables.
For eyeliner tattooing, we plan the line around your eye shape and lash line. We also talk through how subtle or defined you want it to look on a normal day.
READING A RESULT
A common misunderstanding about cosmetic tattooing is that the result you see straight after treatment is the final one. It isn’t. Colour can look stronger at first and then soften as your skin heals, so we design with the healed result in mind.
Your result depends on your skin characteristics, existing pigmentation, healing, lifestyle and aftercare. Pigment may fade or change over time, and you may need maintenance appointments. Our guide to healing, results and aftercare explains what to expect at each stage.
Every result is individual. Cosmetic tattooing enhances natural features and is not a medical treatment or a replacement for cosmetic surgery or injectables.
SEEING EXAMPLES
The most useful way to look at examples is side by side with your own face, with time to talk about your skin, your goals and how pigment tends to heal. Bring your questions to a consultation and we’ll go through them with you in person at our Canberra studio.
