08 — SPECIALIST BEAUTY TRAINING · IN PERSON, CANBERRA STUDIO
We teach cosmetic tattooing the way we practise it. Every brow is measured and mapped to the face in front of you before any pigment goes in. Training takes place in person at our Canberra studio and is led by Olha Po, a cosmetic tattoo artist and educator who has worked in the field since 2016.

A — DESIGN
The work starts with the face rather than a stencil. You learn to look at bone structure, natural brow growth and symmetry, and at what the client actually wants day to day. Then you map a shape that suits them before any pigment is placed.
B — TECHNIQUE
Strokes, shading or a mix of the two. You learn why one client may suit microblading and feathering and another may suit powder and ombre brows or nano and combination brows. Skin characteristics and existing pigment both play a part in that choice.
C — PRACTICE
Precision comes from patient, repeated work and attention to hygiene at every step. Students also practise honest conversations with clients. That means explaining that the fresh result isn’t the final one, that healing varies and that pigment can fade.
YOUR EDUCATOR
Founder of Face Figurati · Certified and Licensed Cosmetic Tattoo Artist · Permanent Makeup Specialist and Educator
Olha Po started her professional career in cosmetic tattooing in 2016. Since then she has built her expertise through hands-on work, international training and study of European permanent makeup techniques. The official Face Figurati website names her as a licensed cosmetic tattoo artist.
As an educator, she brings that same personalised approach to her teaching. Students learn to read the individual face, choose a suitable technique and pigment, and work with care. Her specialty is cosmetic tattooing and permanent makeup. She is not a medical practitioner, and the training stays within that field.
Good technique is only half of it. Clients trust an artist who tells them clearly what to expect, so we teach that alongside the practical skills:
Results depend on skin, existing pigmentation, healing, lifestyle and aftercare.
The fresh result is not the final result.
Pigment may fade or change over time, so maintenance appointments may be needed.
Cosmetic tattooing is not a substitute for fillers, injectables, surgery or medical treatment.
Our guide to healing, results and aftercare covers this in more detail.
Send us an enquiry, write Training in the Subject field and tell us in your message which area interests you and what experience you already have. We’ll talk through how training at the studio works. You can also call 0434 424 000.
